How we work for youth training (6-17 years old):
Training sessions from our REAL director and coaches are one hour each, with TTG members getting access to unlimited open play and pickup. There is a key skill developed every month across our members based on age and skill level and notes are provided to each TTG member within their profile starting after the the third session.
Current interim schedule:
Saturdays:
9-10a 6-8 years old
10-11a 9-11 years old
11-12p 12-14 years old
12-2p Open play & pick-up (Separate fields for adults and kiddos)
Tuesdays through Thursdays:
4-5p 6-8 years old
5-6p 9-11 years old
6-7p 12-14 years old
The “Why” behind the TTG:
The Tampa Training Ground (TTG) was founded by and for soccer lovers, former players, and coaches with additional expertise in sports psychology and education. The dream of establishing an indoor and outdoor soccer hub in Tampa is nearly reality. Having finally closed on the property at the end of 2025, recognizing that our talented training team needed guidance in this new field, TTG has engaged an experienced project management team to streamline our development. With their help, are following a phased plan as follows:
January 2026 - Our outdoor synthetic turf pitch and sitting areas were completed and we have started training
Mid 2026 - Full indoor facility open to include three additional pitches, conditioning, and comfortable viewing areas
Our goal is to communicate with our current and potential players and aspiring coaches. Keep an eye on @tampatrainingground and this website for updates on recurring memberships, youth and adult leagues and tournaments, any-and-all-things-soccer for the Tampa Bay area.
The TTG is centrally located at 6621 Memorial Hwy, Tampa, FL 33615. We encourage parents to drop off players for training and please note we are conveniently situated within walking distance of Starbucks, Publix, Home Depot, other shops and restaurants.
