WHO WE ARE

The Training Ground is Tampa Bay’s first club-neutral indoor and outdoor soccer and futsal facility created for players and coaches of all ages, levels, and objectives. The founders of TTG are all soccer lovers, former players and coaches who have spent time living abroad and traveling to countries where soccer is a foundation of culture and identity. The founders were moved by the realization that they and their soccer-loving kids could play pick-up games in the parks, streets, and fields of other countries with locals. Soccer traverses the barriers of language and culture. For this reason, soccer is more than a game for so many cultures worldwide; it builds character, community, and connection. In a field or street, wearing a jersey or skins, in boots or barefoot, all one needs to play is a soccer ball.

We at TTG view soccer as a uniting force that transcends identity differences and has the potential to connect people of all backgrounds. We see this facility as a space to bring together people with one common trait: the love of soccer.
