The Tampa Training Ground is Tampa Bay’s indoor and outdoor club-neutral soccer and futsal training facility—created for players who want to train with intention and unlock their full potential.
We serve athletes across all clubs, levels, and backgrounds who are looking for a place to sharpen their skills and focus on fitness year-round through structured technical, tactical, and physical development.
What makes us different? We don’t just run sessions—we develop players. Our programs are designed to provide consistent, purposeful training that bridges the gap between weekly team practices and true individual growth.

types of Training We Offer.
Unlimited group training and clinics available to all TTG Members. Player notes are provided for all TTG Members beginning after the third training session. Sessions and clinics are available to be booked within each TTG Member’s portal accessed through the TTG Member Login button above.
Small Group Training
Train in high-rep, small-group (2-10 Members), high-energy sessions to develop speed of play, ball control, and situational awareness.
We train by age group (6-9, 10-13, 14-17 years old), by skill level (Beginner, intermediate, advanced), with Members able to stay before and after for pickup and fun with other Members.

Same age groups and levels. Topic-based training sessions (first touch, finishing, defending, movement off the ball, etc.) offered throughout the summer and year.
We also make available position-specific clinic sessions (E.g., goalkeeper breakout sessions are at 11a on Saturdays).
1-on-1 Private Training
Get personalized attention with tailored drills focused on technical improvement, position-specific work, and game readiness.

WHAT WE TRAIN

We focus on developing close control with both feet, training players to manipulate the ball using all surfaces—inside, outside, sole, and laces—to move confidently in tight spaces.

Players learn how to receive the ball under pressure, scan before receiving, and make quick decisions to keep play moving. We teach how to break lines with purposeful touches and vision.

Our sessions build confidence in taking on defenders and staying composed when isolated. We emphasize explosive changes of pace, body feints, and responsible defending in 1v1 moments.

We teach players how to create passing options by timing their runs, opening passing lanes, and recognizing space. Movement patterns like triangles and diamonds are emphasized for team flow.

From chip shots to quick-release finishes, we train players to score under pressure. Our focus is on technique, angle awareness, and finishing with both feet—even in traffic-heavy areas.

Every session includes competitive futsal games to apply learned skills in real time. Players rotate through positions and receive live coaching to sharpen decision-making and adaptability.
